Kuripes: Handmade Tribal Kuripe Applicators

Kuripes — also called kuripe pipes — are the small V-shaped self-applicators for taking rapé (hapé) on your own: one end to your mouth, the other to a nostril. (To blow rapé for another person, you’d reach for a tepi instead.) Every kuripe here is handmade by the Yawanawá and Puyanawa tribes of Acre, Brazil, in threaded bamboo and hand-carved cumaru wood. Use the filters to narrow by tribe, material or price.
