Shipping to Europe

What to expect when ordering from Europe: how your order ships, and which taxes and fees your country may charge on import. For general shipping information, read our shipping policy.

Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU)

All orders shipped to European countries are sent Delivery Duty Unpaid. Any applicable duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the product price or shipping charges — they are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon delivery.

VAT and the €150 threshold

For orders with a goods value below €150, only Value Added Tax (VAT) is typically due on import. Orders above €150 may also be subject to duties and customs fees, as determined by your country’s customs authorities.

The €150 threshold applies to the value of the goods only — shipping and insurance don’t count toward it. Our store operates in USD, so check the day’s exchange rate if you want your goods total to stay below the equivalent of €150.

A worked example

Say you order 2 oz of Tsunu Forte for $130 and a sample bottle of Osha for $20 — a goods value of $150. At checkout you pay the goods plus shipping, nothing more. If $150 is below €150 at the day’s exchange rate, no duties apply — only VAT, charged at your local rate on goods plus shipping.

Please familiarise yourself with your country’s rules on import duties, taxes, and fees before placing an order. We cannot predict or advise on the exact amounts your customs authorities may charge.
