About Osha Rapé (Hapé)
This fortifying rapé brings two plant traditions together: the sacred Tsunu ash (Platycyamus regnellii) of the Amazon, wildcrafted Osha root (Ligusticum porteri) from the North American Rocky Mountains, and tobacco from tribal lands — a rare crossing of ceremonial plants from north and south. Seasonal and wildcrafted by nature, this is a limited offering available exclusively through Shamanic Supply.
Osha is known as Bear Root in many Indigenous traditions of the American Southwest — named for the bears observed seeking it out after winter. Its fortifying, grounding character makes it a natural choice for the colder months — a rapé that feels suited to winter ceremony, to stillness, and to depth. Customers describe it as "deep and rich," "so good for ceremony," and note that "the osha oils are strong." A rapé that works through the body as much as the spirit.

Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.
