About Chichá Rapé (Hapé)
This regular strength blend, crafted by the Katukina tribe of Acre, Brazil, combines tobacco from tribal lands with Chichá (Sterculia apetala) — a large, majestic tree found across tropical South and Central America, and the national tree of Panama. Known in Amazonian forest tradition as a guardian of the butterflies and the fish, the Chichá produces oil-rich seeds with a subtly sweet, almond-like quality — roasted and prized across the Amazon and Mesoamerica, and long valued in traditional practice for their vitalising and energising character.
The Katukina associate Chichá rapé with clarity and steady presence — traditionally valued for ceremony, study, and work that demands full attention, such as traditional bead making. Practitioners describe it as uplifting and grounding in equal measure, supporting a clear, energised state without overwhelm.

Storage and Freshness
Storage and Freshness
Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.
About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian preparation crafted from finely ground plants, botanicals, and tree ash, used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin across many generations.
Blends vary widely — most fall into three broad categories: Spirit & Ceremony, Grounding & Release, or Strength & Clarity — each reflecting the intentions of the tribe and maker. Traditional use is ceremonial, approached with clear intention and respect for the plants and the tradition.
Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.
