About Iutikawa Rapé (Hapé)
This strong blend, crafted by the Kuntanawa tribe of Acre, Brazil, centres on Iutikawa (Cecropia angustifolia) — known across the Brazilian Amazon as Embaúba. One of the Amazon's defining pioneer trees, Cecropia grows fast and wide, its large palmate leaves among the most recognisable in the rainforest. In Kuntanawa tradition, its ash forms the alkaline base of this rapé, combined with tobacco from tribal lands.
The Kuntanawa turn to this blend when presence is needed — to return to stillness when clarity has scattered. Customers echo that intention: "one of my greatest teachers over the past year," writes one practitioner, describing how it brings her "back into center and connection where things make sense again." Another notes its "beautiful soothing effect" in ceremony. Gentle and grounding without heaviness, Iutikawa rewards consistent practice.

Storage and Freshness
Storage and Freshness
Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.
About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian preparation crafted from finely ground plants, botanicals, and tree ash, used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin across many generations.
Blends vary widely — most fall into three broad categories: Spirit & Ceremony, Grounding & Release, or Strength & Clarity — each reflecting the intentions of the tribe and maker. Traditional use is ceremonial, approached with clear intention and respect for the plants and the tradition.
Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.

Nice Hape, but not very stong
Quality product from a quality source, aiding in the spiritual path
This is a new rappé for us; when we saw the description about how this medicine can calm the nervous system in overwhelming times, we were eager to try it. It has a beautiful soothing effect, and I tend to get gentle, reassuring downloads when I'm in ceremony with Iutikawa. It doesn't stand out quite as much as some of our other favorites (Kaxinawa, Bobinsana, Rosa Blanca, Mint Cacoa), so I'm choosing four stars instead of five, but I absolutely expect to keep leaning on this one as the world continues to change. Regulating the nervous system is so important these days.
I love iutikawa. It’s been one of my greatest teachers over the past year. In times of overwhelm and great struggle I find it is one of the most helpful tools for bringing me back into center and connection where things make sense again.
