About Xiti Rapé (Hapé)

This healing rapé, crafted by the women of the Nukini tribe of Acre, Brazil, is built around Murici ash (Byrsonima crassifolia) — a golden-fruited tree of the Amazonian cerrado, long worked with in Nukini tradition for its cleansing and balancing character — and tobacco from tribal lands.

Xiti is made by Nukini women, during ceremonial prayer, and practitioners feel it. Smooth and distinctly floral in its onset, what begins lightly opens into something forceful and present: "a really beautiful lightness to it, whilst still being pokey enough to deliver a good sense of clearing and resulting embodied presence," one writes. "Elevated to a realm of pure light and love, a beautiful stillness filled my body and mind," another; "strong, penetrating, forceful when it needs to be, and yet comforting." Traditionally worked with for energetic cleansing, clarity of mind, and deep spiritual stillness.

Storage and Freshness

Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

This Nukini rapeh has a really beautiful lightness to it, whilst still being pokey enough to deliver a good sense of clearing and resulting embodied presence.

I’ve tried this before hikes or exercise, and it’s an excellent motivator. This one gets my attention, gets me focused. Would love to know what it can be blended with for a more euphoric lift before a deep meditation.

I have been using this same medicine for over a year. I use it generously every evening prior to going to bed.
