About Bobinsana Rapé (Hapé)
This healing blend is built around the bark of Bobinsana (Calliandra angustifolia) — a graceful riverside shrub found growing along the banks of Amazonian rivers and streams, its distinctive pink powder-puff flowers among the most striking sights in the forest understory. The Yawanawa of Acre have long worked with Bobinsana as a plant teacher: in Amazonian tradition it is associated with the water spirits, with the feminine energy of rivers, and with the opening of the heart.
