Some of the Noke Koi — the Katukina people of Acre, Brazil — are moving deeper into the forest, to live closer to nature and to carry on traditional medicine-making as their elders practised it. The one thing the new village site does not have is clean water.
This project drills one artesian well, 30 to 60 metres down to a productive aquifer, with a pump that runs entirely on solar. The target is 10,000 litres a day, reaching every family in the village.
Nothing is sent to you. This is a donation, not a purchase — no product, no shipping, no discount, no reward. It is not tax-deductible.
Give $10 and $10 lands with the project. We pay the card fee to receive your money and the bank fee to send it to Brazil, and we pay the drilling and solar companies directly. Shamanic Supply takes nothing — no cut, no costs recovered.
Every dollar in and every dollar out is published on the Água pela Vida project page, which stays up permanently as the record of the campaign, the work, and the donors who made it happen.
