About Saracura Rapé (Hapé)
This healing rapé from the Katukina tribe of Acre, Brazil is built around the Saracura vine (Pseudoconnarus rhynchosioides) — one of the rarest climbing plants in the documented Amazonian flora — combined with tobacco from tribal lands.
The Saracura vine appears infrequently in the ethnobotanical record and even less so in craft rapé. Among the Katukina, it is worked with for a quality the blend's character captures well: grounding and clearing in the same movement — not simply elevating, but making room. The vine settles the field as it lifts what has accumulated there.

It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.
