The Katukina consider Tsunu rapeh primarily for spiritual work as it is both grounding and exploratory. It is a strong rapeh and is most suitable for people who have already had some experience working with rapeh. Two parts of the Pau Pereira tree are used, both the bark and the roots. Pau Pereira rapeh uses just the bark and has a different purpose. This rapeh is made only by the women of the tribal chiefs.
Use Tsunu rapeh for aligning, cleaning and grounding, thus balancing the energies in the body. The Pajé (or medicine men) in the Katukina would express this process as 'warding off evil spirits' or bad luck. Consider that when you are unbalanced it is much harder to manifest cleanly and clearly. This is very nice rapeh to use prior to meditation.
This strong, connective rapeh is lovingly made for us by the Katukina tribe of Acre, Brazil. For more information on rapeh (rapé), please read this page.
