About Tsunu Rapé (Hapé)
This spiritual blend is the Katukina's foundational rapé — tobacco from tribal lands, combined with Tsunu ash (Platycyamus regnellii), the lavender-flowering Amazonian legume whose bark is the bedrock of the rapé tradition, and roasted Pixuri seeds (Licaria puchury-major), a wild-harvested Amazonian laurel-family seed with a warm, spicy-sweet depth — now so rarely found that supply comes almost entirely from deep river valley extraction.
Tsunu carries a masculine, earthward quality — deeply grounding, connecting to the body and to the earth beneath it. "So grounding — very connected with the earth, and the masculine spirit," one practitioner describes; "it helps to clear the energies of others after working with them." The effect arrives sharply and lifts quickly into stillness: head cleared, attention gathered, a quiet inner presence that holds long after the initial contact subsides. Equally suited to daily personal practice and those who work with others ceremonially. For a stronger experience, our Tsunu Extra Strong brings the same Katukina tradition, fermented with jungle honey for greater potency.

Storage and Freshness
Storage and Freshness
Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian preparation crafted from finely ground plants, botanicals, and tree ash, used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin across many generations.
Blends vary widely — most fall into three broad categories: spiritual, healing, or fortifying — each reflecting the intentions of the tribe and maker. Traditional use is ceremonial, approached with clear intention and respect for the plants and the tradition.
Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.

Me and my partner love this blend. It’s so grounding. Feel very connected with the earth, and the masculine spirit of the medicine. We find it helps to clear the energies of others after working with them.
