About Kawakaya Rapé (Hapé)

This spiritual blend, crafted by the Kuntanawa tribe of Acre, Brazil, centres on Chacruna (Psychotria viridis) — one of the most sacred plants in Amazonian ceremony, known to the Kuntanawa as Kawakaya, "Plant of the Sacred Light." Chacruna is the companion plant to Ayahuasca and, while non-psychoactive in rapé form, it carries deep ceremonial significance and a potent energetic presence in Kuntanawa tradition, combined here with tobacco from tribal lands.

Those who sit with Kawakaya describe deep immersion — "an immersion into a transcendental state," writes one practitioner, calling it "very blissful and powerful." Another finds it "both enlivening and centering" in meditation, and regular users report some of the most vivid dreamwork they've encountered. The Kuntanawa work with it for expanded perception, dreamwork, and spiritual opening.

Storage and Freshness

Hapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety

Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian preparation crafted from finely ground plants, botanicals, and tree ash, used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin across many generations.

Blends vary widely — most fall into three broad categories: spiritual, healing, or fortifying — each reflecting the intentions of the tribe and maker. Traditional use is ceremonial, approached with clear intention and respect for the plants and the tradition.

Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.
