Bulk Mugwort Rapé (Hapé)

Mugwort Rapé (Hapé) is a traditional bulk ceremonial blend crafted by the Yawanawa tribe of Acre, Brazil, combining Amazonian tobacco with revered Mugwort, long known as the Herb of Life.

Traditionally valued for supporting menstrual balance, easing headaches, and improving sleep, Mugwort has also been associated in folklore with divination and mystical practices. This distinctive blend carries an earthy, herbal character and is often chosen for meditation, dreamwork, and visionary exploration. Explore more traditional healing blends in our Healing Rapé Collection.

Historically connected to lucid dreaming, astral projection, clairvoyance, meditative trances, and visionary experiences, Mugwort is embraced for its nurturing and mystical qualities. Hand-prepared using traditional methods—dried, pounded, and finely sieved—each batch reflects the Yawanawa’s ancestral knowledge and craftsmanship. It forms part of our broader bulk rapé (hapé) collection, sourced directly from Amazonian tribal partners.

Caution: Mugwort should not be used during pregnancy, as it may stimulate menstruation.

Storage & Shelf Life

Rapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your rapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store rapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the bag upon removal.

About Rapé (Hapé)

Rapé snuff is a time-honored sacrament cherished by the tribes of the Amazon for centuries. This handcrafted preparation comprises dried, ground medicinal plants and tree ashes. Traditionally, rapé is administered via a unique bone or bamboo Kuripe pipe, blown directly into the nostrils.

Rapé's diverse formulations cater to a variety of uses and broadly fall into three categories: spiritual, healing, and fortifying. It is revered for its potent purifying and grounding properties, often employed to dispel negative energy, enhance concentration, and heighten consciousness. It serves as a pivotal component in sacred rituals and ceremonies, facilitating a deeper connection with the spiritual realm, fostering self-awareness, and promoting healing and growth.

Please use this sacred plant medicine with respect, in a ceremonial context and with clear intention. Rapé is not meant for habitual or social use*
