About Sansara Rapé (Hapé)

This spiritual blend from the Kuntanawa tribe of Acre, Brazil is built around the Sansara plant (Justicia pectoralis) — a fragrant forest herb whose warm, sweet-scented leaves give this rapé a character unlike most — combined with tobacco from tribal lands. The scent carries through immediately and is one of Sansara's most distinctive qualities.

Justicia pectoralis grows close to the forest floor throughout the Amazon, recognisable by its small purple flowers. Among the Kuntanawa, Sansara is held as a plant of inner quieting and heart-opening — traditionally worked with to settle what has become unsettled, to ground the field, and to soften what the heart has been carrying. Its calming, fragrant character has made it a respected plant across many Amazonian traditions.

Customers reach for this when they want something that is "gentle yet powerful, cleansing yet grounding" — a blend that arrives smoothly without the intensity of heavier rapés but with real presence. One describes "a gentle heart-opener" providing "a smooth connecting experience"; another finds "a sense of lightness and joy." Many return to it as a regular companion for ceremony, meditation, and quieter practice.

Explore the tradition this blend grows from in our Rapé Ceremony Guide.

This Sansara rapé is meticulously crafted by the Kuntanawa tribe of Acre, Brazil, for our customers.

Storage and Freshness

It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
