About Rosa Blanca Rapé (Hapé)

This light blend, crafted by the Nukini tribe of Acre, Brazil, combines tobacco from tribal lands and Tsunu ash (Platycyamus regnellii) with white rose petals (Rosa x alba) — a single-rose blend of focused, contemplative character that differs from dual-rose blends in its simplicity of intention. Where other rose rapés layer varieties for complexity, Rosa Blanca works with the singular purity of white.

In Brazilian spiritual tradition, the white rose — rosa branca — is one of the most revered ritual plants in Umbanda and Candomblé. Associated with Oxalá and Iemanjá, it is central to the banho de rosa branca (white rose bath), a practice used throughout Brazil for spiritual cleansing, clearing the aura, and creating sacred protected space. Its symbolism is purity, divine light, and inner peace — qualities that carry through in rapé form as a blend that arrives gently, opens the heart quietly, and holds a protective, still quality throughout.

Customers describe it as "deeply soft whilst deeply fierce and full of power" — "a blend for the seer in you, not the warrior." In practice that means grounding and calming, "with a nice gentle floral bouquet to it," and a quality of "heart opening and deep connection with mother earth" that has made it a devotional favourite for prayer, ceremony, and quiet contemplation.

Storage & Shelf Life

Rapé (Hapé) snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your hapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store hapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the container upon removal.

About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety

Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian preparation crafted from finely ground plants, botanicals, and tree ash, used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin across many generations.

Blends vary widely — most fall into three broad categories: Spirit & Ceremony, Grounding & Release, or Strength & Clarity — each reflecting the intentions of the tribe and maker. Traditional use is ceremonial, approached with clear intention and respect for the plants and the tradition.

Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.
