Unlike Samauma rapés prepared from root or bark, this medicine is crafted from the flower through a careful, ritualistic process in which each petal is individually separated, dried, and macerated. This meticulous preparation is traditionally understood to produce a subtler, more refined expression of the Samauma spirit—one that works softly rather than forcefully on the emotional and energetic fields.
Samauma Flower rapé is often described as carrying a more feminine, receptive quality: supportive, opening, and heart-oriented, while remaining deeply rooted in the grounding strength of the Samauma tree itself. Many experience calm awareness, emotional softening, and a sense of gentle alignment that invites listening, presence, and inner silence.
The Samauma tree (Ceiba pentandra), known as the “Mother Tree of the Forest” and the “Samauma Tree of Life,” is revered throughout the Amazon as a guardian of life and ancestral memory. In Indigenous cosmology, it stands as a bridge between the sky, the earth, and the spiritual world—uniting expansive, nurturing energies with immense, rooted strength.
This hapé is traditionally chosen for spiritual rituals, prayer, and deep introspective work where intention and reverence are essential. Its elevated and balanced character supports energetic harmony, heart opening, and conscious connection, making it especially suited for subtle ceremonial use.
Samauma Flower hapé is traditionally crafted by the Katukina tribe of Acre, Brazil, using ancestral knowledge passed down through generations of ceremonial and earth-based practice.

About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
About Rapé (Hapé): Benefits & Safety
Rapé (hapé) is a time-honored Amazonian sacrament crafted from finely ground medicinal plants and tree ash. Traditionally administered with a bone or bamboo kuripe pipe, hapé is blown directly into the nostrils as part of sacred rituals and ceremonies.
Each blend is unique, but most fall into three categories: spiritual, healing, or fortifying. Indigenous peoples use hapé to ground the mind, clear negative energy, enhance focus, and foster a deeper connection with the spiritual realm.
Please use this sacred plant medicine with respect and clear intention—it is not meant for habitual or social use.
