This fortifying blend, crafted by the Yawanawá tribe of Acre, Brazil, centres on Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) — the Blue Gum, a tree originally from Australia that has been widely adopted into Amazonian plant traditions. In Yawanawa ceremony, rapé — known as Rume — is a tool of purification, clarity, and vitality. The Yawanawa prepare their ash with particular care: burned from specific bark types, collected before morning dew, each batch made to preserve the plant's character intact. This blend combines Eucalyptus with tobacco from tribal lands.
The experience is immediate and distinctive — crisp and cooling, with what practitioners describe as "a very refreshing clarity" and "a very nice kick" that lingers.
