About Bulk Tsunu Six Herbs Rapé (Hapé)

Tsunu Six Herbs — an extra strong rapé of the Katukina tradition — combines tobacco from tribal lands aged with jungle honey, Tsunu tree ash (Platycyamus regnellii), and six plant allies: Cumaru seeds (Dipteryx odorata), star anise (Illicium verum), mint (Mentha arvensis), lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), Nissural leaves, and Katsaral (Mikania glomerata). Each herb contributes its own aromatic thread — sweet warmth, spice, freshness, citrus, earth — woven into a unified whole.

What practitioners return for is the quality of the complexity: not forceful, but wide. “Smooth but powerful,” one describes; “a dark herbal aroma” that settles with depth. “Feels like a warm blanket,” another writes — suited equally to morning practice and formal ceremony. For bottle sizes and samples, see our Tsunu Six Herbs Hapé.

Hand-prepared using traditional methods — dried, pounded, fermented, and finely sieved — each batch embodies the Katukina's ancestral wisdom and our shared commitment to ethical, small-batch production.

Explore the deeper traditions of Amazonian ceremony in our guide to rapé and hapé.

Storage & Shelf Life

Rapé snuff can remain potent for years when kept in a cool, dry, and dark location. To maintain its quality, ensure your rapé is tightly sealed and protected from any form of moisture. It is not recommended to store rapé in the refrigerator as condensation may form inside the bag upon removal.

About Rapé (Hapé)

Rapé (hapé) is a traditional Amazonian medicine, used by Indigenous peoples in rituals of healing, meditation, and connection with their ancestors.

It is crafted from finely ground tobacco — the principal element — blended with ash and a range of botanicals: herbs, flowers, seeds, roots, and barks. Each tribe and maker follows their own recipe, so blends vary in character and strength, from gentle and grounding to strong and fortifying.

Please approach this rapé with care and clear intention — best used in ceremony or with conscious purpose.
